The McDOnald's near me a few years ago changed the menu inside to the Flat panel monitor menu's (about a few months after the McRib was gone) which would have animations and stuff, other McD's did this as well
YEsterday I goa nd notice that the menu is back to the manual type that every other fast food place has
I guess it costed them too much

Hands down, the McRib is the best McD's sandwich.. EVER. I worked there when the Flintstones movie came out.. and I found that the longer the "rib" sat in the sauce, the better it tasted.

I remember eating the McRib Jr. a few years ago.. good, but not quite the same.

I've only ever seen one McD's with the flat screen panel menu... It's in Aberdeen, Maryland, right near Cal Ripken's baseball stadium. But I haven't been back in that location in well over a year, so I'm not sure if they kept that menu system or not.

There is a location not too far from me, in Glasgow, Delaware that has a "Bistro" menu in addition to the regular menu. They sell things like panini sandwiches. I've never been in there.

McDonald's located in the Greater Pittsburgh region for them frequently bring back the McRib. Don't know of any other area that does except Pittsburgh, so if you're ever in Pittsburgh, see if they have it. I know they did last time I was up there (About 2 weeks ago) with signs all over saying "McRib is Back!".

I concur. The McRib = best thing ever to come from the Golden Arches.

McRibs are good we have had them in Indianapolis for the last 3 months. They seem to come and go. They will be gone for a couple of months and back for a couple of months.

McD's was running them here in Missouri for the last 2-3 months. They just killed them this week, not sure what the new product will be yet.

I like the McRib, but there's too much sauce on it for this diabetic. And ordering it without sauce defeats the purpose!

About the menus, the only ones around here (Southern California) are the regular kind. Nothing fancy here!

The McDonalds in Bethesda Maryland had the electronic signs, and then about 7 months ago they went back to the manual ones too. Sadly I haven't been able to find a McRib since 1990 Sad

PepsiBlue, you mean the Sourdough Bacon Cheeseburger at Burger King? They still have it here. I love it too, and I get them all the time here. I had one just a couple weeks ago.

God I wish they would bring back the Cajun McChickens. Those things were like 99 cents and I could put down 4 of em in a meal. Miss those things. I wanna get fat off of them.

I remember those. Of course, I remember the .88 menu, which was done about 5 years before McD's unveiled a Dollar Menu (in their Pittsburgh area). Classics like the Double Burger (not Cheeseburger), Cajun McChicken were on it. They also had the Big 'N Cheesy in the Pittsburgh area which was 3 hamburgers and 6 slices of cheese I think. I never had one though, it might have had 4 hamburgers because otherwise they might as well have called it a Triple Cheeseburger.
